lauryn + thatcher / islandwood / bainbridge island, washington
A Wes Anderson-inspired celebration full of whimsy, vintage charm, and color. Lauryn + Thatcher’s day-of signage and stationery captured the quirky romance that made their day so unforgettable.
Vibe: whimsical, vintage, playful
There’s something so effortlessly charming about Lauryn + Thatcher. Their wedding day felt like stepping into a Wes Anderson film—every detail brimming with personality, color, and just the right amount of whimsy.
We designed their day-of stationery and signage to reflect that unique energy: vintage-inspired fonts, soft yet playful colors, and quirky touches that tied the entire day together. From their seating chart to the dinner menus, each piece brought its own character while harmonizing perfectly with their joyful, cinematic aesthetic.
The result? A wedding that felt like a storybook—curated yet spontaneous, nostalgic yet new. Lauryn + Thatcher’s day was a celebration of color, creativity, and the kind of love that makes the world feel just a little more magical.
We adored being part of their day and bringing their whimsical vision to life.

wipa gala / edmonds waterfront / seattle, wa
Inspired by fall textures and Scandinavian simplicity, our stationery for the WIPA Seattle Gala celebrated community, abundance, and modern coastal elegance — all wrapped in luxe, double-thick natural cardstock.
Vibe: clean, modern, textured, luxe
There’s something special about designing for a community that celebrates creativity as much as connection. The WIPA Seattle Gala brought together the best of both — a night of color, celebration, and the kind of togetherness that defines the Pacific Northwest wedding industry.
For this event, we wanted the stationery to feel clean, modern, and intentional, while still echoing the warmth of fall. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design and textured seasonal tones, we created double-thick natural cardstock menus that felt elevated to the touch — luxe yet understated. The minimalist typography paired with soft, layered color gave the suite a sense of calm sophistication and timeless appeal.
The circular elements throughout the design represented abundance and community, two themes that carried through the night as industry peers gathered to celebrate, connect, and create together. The two-color printing allowed for subtle contrast and dimension, letting each piece stand on its own while remaining cohesive within the event design.
With the venue right on the beach and the ferry dock in direct sight, the entire evening carried that serene PNW magic — clean lines, gentle movement, and a perfect balance between structure and softness. It just couldn’t have been more beautiful.
We’re always honored to collaborate with such talented creatives and contribute to moments that bring our industry together — and this gala was a stunning reflection of community, artistry, and modern elegance.

Jess + Tyler’s bright August wedding was bursting with life, laughter, and personality — complete with a dog cameo, surprise first look, T-shirt toss, and a dance floor that never stopped.
Vibe: bright, joyful, golden summer
If sunshine could be bottled, it would look a lot like Jess + Tyler’s wedding day. Bright, full of life, and overflowing with energy, their August celebration was a joyful reflection of who they are — fun-loving, easygoing, and deeply connected.
From the start of the day, you could feel the excitement. Their adorable dog made an appearance (and stole more than a few hearts), their first look was full of surprises and laughter, and every moment felt genuine and full of life. As the day went on, guests were treated to unexpected delights — a T-shirt toss, late-night popcorn, and a dance floor that never slowed down.
We designed their day-of signage and details to complement that same spirit: bright and modern with a clean, effortless feel. The tones of summer — soft neutrals, warm light, and subtle pops of orange — tied everything together beautifully.
Jess + Tyler’s wedding was the perfect reminder that love isn’t just romantic — it’s joyful, playful, and meant to be celebrated. These two brought their full hearts (and dance moves!) to the day, and we’re so honored to have been part of it.

ellie + pablo / epiphany / seattle, wa
Ellie + Pablo’s wedding was a gentle reminder that true love doesn’t need to be loud to be felt. Their day radiated warmth and sincerity, from the soft neutral palette to the heartfelt signage and floral details. Every element reflected who they are — kind, grounded, and beautifully in love.
Vibe: soft, timeless, romantic
There is something naturally beautiful about Ellie and Pablo. Their Seattle wedding felt warm, sincere, and thoughtfully considered from beginning to end, with a quiet sense of intention guiding every part of the day.
This was one of those celebrations where every detail carried meaning. Their wedding thoughtfully blended Jewish and Christian traditions, with personal nods to Pablo’s Honduran heritage woven throughout the day. Hosted on a family property that has welcomed generations of weddings, the setting added a deep layer of history and sentiment to the experience. From the ceremony to the transformation of the property for dinner and dancing, it was clear how much care, collaboration, and love went into bringing the day to life.
For their wedding, we focused on the day-of design that helped guide guests through the celebration with clarity and grace. We created a cohesive suite of pieces including elegant menus, carefully organized seating charts, refined table numbers, and directional signage that worked together as a unified visual language. Designed in soft tones with clean lines and simple typography, the stationery complemented the natural beauty of the setting rather than competing with it.
The overall experience felt grounded in connection. Family and friends gathered closely, moments unfolded naturally, and every choice felt purposeful. The day-of stationery played a quiet but meaningful role, supporting the flow of the day and helping guests feel welcomed, informed, and immersed in Ellie and Pablo’s celebration.

justine + david / arbor crest / spokane, wa
Vibe: timeless joy, modern grace
There’s a classic kind of joy that radiates from Justine + David — the kind that fills a room and makes everyone feel part of something truly special. From our first conversation, it was clear that their wedding would be rooted in warmth, tradition, and a quiet kind of sophistication.
We wanted their paper pieces to reflect that same balance of timeless grace and modern simplicity. Clean lines, understated fonts, and subtle textures came together to create an aesthetic that felt as effortless as their love.
On their wedding day, the feeling was pure magic — the grandeur of the church paired with Justine’s elegant gown and David’s sharp, classic style created a moment that was both cinematic and deeply personal. Every detail, from the floral arrangements to the signage, echoed the theme of simple elegance elevated by heartfelt joy.
We adored bringing their vision to life and are endlessly grateful to have played a small part in such a meaningful celebration. Here’s to a lifetime of laughter, love, and moments that feel just as radiant as the ones that filled their wedding day.

Lake Lucerne Wedding at Bürgenstock Resort
Vibe: MODERN, ROMANTIC, ARTISTIC, LUXURIOUS, DREAMLIKE
Set high above Lake Lucerne at the iconic Bürgenstock Resort, Xiaoyang Li and Yucheng Tang’s wedding felt like stepping into a modern fairytale. The Bürgenstock Resort sits along the cliffs with sweeping views of the Swiss Alps and the shimmering lake, creating a luxurious and dreamlike setting that holds its own kind of magic. It was the perfect place for a celebration that felt intimate, romantic, and deeply artistic.
The couple chose a palette of soft neutrals and rich berry tones, letting the natural beauty of the Bürgenstock Resort become part of the design. Sculptural florals framed the floor-to-ceiling windows, and gilded mirrors caught the light in the most beautiful way, reflecting both the blooms and the mountains beyond. Everything felt ethereal and intentional.
Guests sat on sleek ghost chairs surrounded by reflection, gentle texture, and soft light as the couple exchanged vows with Lake Lucerne stretching out behind them. Every detail was understated in the most luxurious way. A celebration that showed how simplicity, elegance, and a place like the Bürgenstock Resort can come together so effortlessly.

emily + matthew / Golf Club at Black Rock, coeur d’alene, idaho
VIBE: modern, classic, elegant, formal, simple + clean
Emily and Matt were so excited to have a destination wedding in Idaho, their favorite summer vacation spot. They knew they wanted to let the mountains and the beautiful greenery steal the show, so they kept their wedding black and white and let nature provide the accent colors. We do think the wedding—and the gorgeous bride and groom—outshone Idaho on their wedding day, but how could they not?! This black and white wedding suite, with embossed and debossed details and a standout vertical vellum bellyband, delivered important information to their guests in a way that felt simple, elegant, and totally luxurious.
They used their gorgeous monogram to brand everything throughout the weekend, from welcome bags to tissues to playing cards—we had so much fun with these! And we’re sure the guests appreciated having something to mop up those ceremony tears during such a heartfelt celebration. Keeping things easy and classy, guests found their seats via an oversized seating chart, and drink and meal options were displayed through signage throughout the gorgeous celebration.

julia + cameron / Davenport Hotel, spokane, washington
VIBE: classic Gatsby, black-tie, bright + springy art deco
These two Gonzaga-grad-lovebirds wanted a classic wedding that celebrated their loved ones as much as their own union. Their day was bright, springy, and full of joy—perfectly matched to their ceremony at St. Aloysius Church and reception at the iconic Davenport Hotel. Their custom wedding invitations featured timeless letterpress on soft white, setting the tone for a cohesive day-of look. Cream and gold carried into their signage design, where coordinating welcome signs, table numbers, and a refined seating chart helped guests flow effortlessly through the celebration.
One of our favorite details? A bespoke guestbook featuring a custom illustration of the church where they said “I do.” A keepsake they’ll treasure for years to come. This elegant, joyful wedding had all the signage—plus one of our favorite custom bar signs ever. Everything came together beautifully: elevated, personal, and timeless. And honestly? caroline + gareth / Yellowhawk Resort, walla walla, wa
VIBE: Walla Walla, windmills, wheat fields + mountains
Caroline and Gareth ooze kindness, sophistication, and a wholesome love—and we enjoyed every part of working with them. They wanted custom illustrations and luxurious paper to help tell their love story, especially their love of the Walla Walla landscape. That landscape inspired everything about this suite, from the bespoke windmill drawings to the sky blue and wheat color scheme. This suite is a testament to the fact that simple does not mean boring. The beautiful letterpressed main invite is complemented by a sky blue, minimalist details card, tied together with a vellum wrap featuring a sweeping windmill landscape.
One of our favorite details is the simple, modern wheat motif on the back of the envelope—a nod to the beauty of the wheat fields where they were about to be married. They carried these details into their day-of signage, from a minimalist welcome sign to an easy-to-read seating chart that helped guests feel right at home. Their programs, menus, and table numbers all paired perfectly with the whimsical, romantic sweet pea table flowers. When you see these photos, you can feel the peace of their love radiating from every frame. We wish them all the love in the world.

jenny + matt / liberty lake, washington
Vibe: soft outdoors, dreamy, romantic and a little magical
When people give the advice “marry your best friend,” Matt and Jenny are the couple they have in mind. They are joyful, earnest and so in love (did you see the secret J+M on the tree? Obsessed!). We wanted their wedding invitation suite and day of signage to reflect all those things and capture the soft, romantic, outdoorsy vibe they were going for. We created custom illustrations, used natural paper, and brought in dusty pink to create a cohesive wedding suite. Jenny also lost her father and wanted him represented in all elements—from the invites to the day of signage. So when you see that little cluster of stars that pops up on their invite as well as their welcome sign, that’s a symbol of her dad. Like them, the day was bright and beautiful, and everything came together just right.

Everything about Megan and Tyler’s vision for their wedding was personal. The huckleberries on their fully custom wedding invites evoke their love of the outdoors. allie + michael / Mackinac Island, Michigan
Vibe: clean, minimal, natural, garden formal
Allie + Michael’s wedding took place at Mackinac Island, a special little island in Michigan where there are no cars and everyone gets around the island by horse-drawn carriage or bike. Which is a dream. Aaaand it’s also a lot of information to communicate to their guests on their invite and wedding itinerary. We worked to get all of the information across, while still keeping the natural and special vibe of the wedding intact. They wanted the wedding invite design to be clean and modern with lots of small special touches like handmade paper and custom illustrations. These unique touches carried through to their day of items with custom bar signage and wedding weekend itineraries for the guests when they arrived. Every detail was planned out and done so beautifully, setting Allie + Michael up for a lovely life together.

heidi’s highlights | the art of noticing
the art of noticing
heidi’s highlights | april 20, 2025
i stopped on my morning jog this week
to sit on the rock by the water
and i noticed two birds i’d never seen before
swimming so playfully
it almost felt like a gift
they weren’t concerned with the headlines, the uncertainty, or the heaviness so many of us are carrying
and for a moment
i was jealous
and then i was free
noticing can feel like that
like a tiny, stolen breath of peace in a world that forgets to pause
i’ve been working on staying present lately
it’s a full-time job
i started a morning ritual—just ten minutes of journaling
first it’s stream-of-thought
then five things i’m grateful for
six things i’m manifesting
and one daily mantra
this week’s mantra is: “it’s so easy to stay in the moment”
and what a crazy thought
it’s what all the spiritual teachers say
i suppose they’re on to something
sometimes i feel like i could be crushed by all the things on my plate
but holding onto stress doesn’t help me create
doesn’t help me show up for the people i love
doesn’t help me feel more grounded
so i’m practicing
noticing as an act of resistance
slowing down
letting go
trusting that the next right step will still be there when i’m ready
as ryan always says, one airplane at a time
he picked it up from his love of airplanes and his friends who work in air traffic control
because when there are thousands of planes in the sky, all you can really do is focus on the next one in line
try to handle them all at once, and the stress will crush you
but one at a time? you’ve got this
what i missed before i slowed down
one of the biggest things i’ve noticed is how different my work feels when i’m not rushing through it
i used to rush through printing
just get the job done
keep it moving
check the box
now
i wait for the soft clunk of the press
like a heartbeat
steady, grounding, real
in a world that wants more, faster, louder
i’m choosing to look closely
to care more
to feel it all
the things you never see
i don’t post the part where the ink turns muddy
or the die cut doesn’t go all the way through
or we don’t realize the color is off until it’s too late
this week i printed 115 dusty blue invitations
except
they weren’t dusty blue
some leftover black ink from the previous job hadn’t fully cleaned off the press
and it snuck in
turning everything gray
so i started over
remixed the ink
cut new parent sheets
re-registered the plate
and reprinted them all
and they’re perfect now
but the imperfection
the mess
the behind-the-scenes problem-solving
is what matters to me most
those are the moments that shape the work
the beauty
and me
a gentle reminder
this is your reminder to notice the ordinary magic
the way the light peers through that crack in your shades
the sounds of nature doing its thing while the world wakes up
the moment you exhale and remember—you don’t have to do it all at once
holding onto stress doesn’t actually get things done better or faster
what a shocker, right?
you can stay relaxed and in the moment
worry about one airplane at a time
and skip the constant drip of cortisol running the show
try it
i promise the world will keep spinning
give yourself a little more space today
a little more grace
you’re already doing enough

rambi + jack / san juan island, wa
Vibe: playful, adventurous, San Juan summer
Rambi and Jack are adventurers, and they wanted everything about their wedding to give a nod to that. Their greens and blues are inspired by the gorgeous surroundings of the San Juan Islands where their wedding and reception took place. We paired playful fonts with simple illustrations to invite their guests to a weekend of fun and love in a gorgeous destination. The travel theme was amped up in their day of design, carried out with Olivia at Cloud 9 Events, to celebrate all the place they’ve been and all the places they have waiting for them. Being a little travel obsessed ourselves here at mango, we’re always tickled by a couple who celebrates their love of getting out there to enjoy the world.

Vibe: soft, romantic, simple elegance
There is a kindness to Katie + Nathan that is so strong you can feel it through email. We wanted to capture that in their suite. We kept everything—from the font to the colors—soft and romantic. The simplicity helps keep things romantic, but in a modern way. This soft and pretty mood was carried through to their day of items. We are over the moon about their floral monogram that captures the simple elegance of their love. We loved working with Katie and wish them continued kindness and love in their life together.
“I loved your creativity, attention to detail, and responsiveness to my (many) questions and revisions. The quality of your work (both design and printing) is absolutely impeccable, and though I came in with some ideas, you took all of them and made them 1000% better!
